Inauguraron en Tultepec “El Viaje al Mictlán”

Autoridades de Tultepec, inauguraron de manera formal la exhibición El Viaje al Mictlán, la cual consiste en 9 paneles pintados a mano que, junto con un juego sincronizado de luz y audio.

Tultepec,Méx.- En el marco del 9º Festival Calaveras y Muertitos, autoridades municipales encabezadas por el alcalde, inauguraron de manera formal la exhibición El Viaje al Mictlán, la cual consiste en 9 paneles pintados a mano que, junto con un juego sincronizado de luz y audio, narran la travesía de sigue el alma de la persona fallecida hasta llegar al Mictlán.
La muestra fue montada por un grupo de jóvenes de la sociedad civil que integran el Colectivo Ololi Catrina, en el centenario kiosco de Tultepec, ubicado en la Plaza Principal, quienes trabajaron durante seis semanas para hacerla posible.
Esta exposición también es un esfuerzo del gobierno local, quien brindó todas las facilidades para llevar a cabo esta iniciativa, como un esfuerzo por rescatar y promover las tradiciones prehispánicas y en general la cultura mexicana y de nuestros antepasados.
En la exhibición que dura 15 minutos, se narra la creencia de nuestros antepasados, previo a la llegada de los españoles a estas tierras, que al morir la gente llegaba a un lugar llamado El Mictlán, lugar donde las almas descansaban para siempre.
“Cuando alguien moría, el cuerpo era envuelto en una manta o tilma para abrigarlo del frío del inframundo, se le vertía agua en la boca y en la cabeza para que pudiera refrescarse y calmar la sed durante la jornada, y se colocaban junto al cuerpo objetos que le serían útiles en su viaje”, según la narración.
Así, se colocaban junto al difunto una mazorca de maíz, una piedra de obsidiana, una jícara, flores de cempasúchil, un escudo de plumas y por supuesto, la fiel compañía de un perro xoloizcuintle, que le serviría de compañía y guía en esta travesía.
Pero para llegar al Mictlán, se necesitaba primero pasar por nueve niveles antes de llegar a la presencia del Señor Mictlantecuhtli, donde la manera de vivir de cada uno y las acciones cometidas en la tierra determinarían la manera de encarar los obstáculos en esta larga travesía. El Tlalticpac, la tierra de los vivos, el lugar en donde se lleva a cabo la vida terrenal, el primer paso hacia la muerte. Una vez que se abandona el Tlalticpac por muerte natural, el tonalli, es decir, el alma del viajero inicia un largo trayecto a través de los nueve niveles del inframundo hasta llegar al Mictlán.
Posteriormente, el trayecto continúa en Cehueloyán (lugar donde hay mucha nieve), Pancuetlacoloyán (lugar donde las personas se voltean como bandera), Temiminaloyán (lugar donde te arrojan flechas), Teyollocualoyán (lugar donde te comen el corazón), Apanohyaloyán (lugar donde se tiene que cruzar el agua).

    on each time a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment.

  5. I believe what you posted was very logical. However, think on this,
    suppose you wrote a catchier title? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your blog, but
    what if you added a post title that grabbed folk’s attention? I mean Inauguraron en Tultepec "El
    Viaje al Mictlán" – 8 Columnas is a little boring.
    You ought to peek at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create article headlines to get viewers interested.
    You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. In my opinion, it would make your
    posts a little bit more interesting.
