Sismo provoca nuevos daños en iglesia de Xalatlaco

El sismo registrado la tarde de este viernes 16 de febrero, provoco nuevas afectaciones a la Iglesia de Santa maría Asunción del municipio de Xalatlaco.

Los daños más graves se reportan en la cúpula de la iglesia de Santa María Asunción, de acuerdo con los encargados, se registró caída de piedras.

Se informó que la iglesia resultó afectada con el sismo del pasado 19 de septiembre, motivo por el cual permanece cerrada.

De acuerdo con los habitantes el sismo de la tarde de este viernes se sintió fuerte.

Se espera que próximo lunes se entregarán los permisos para que el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia inicie con la reconstrucción de la iglesia.

Los encargados de la iglesia dejaron en claro que las afectaciones más graves son del sismo del 19 de septiembre, en el sismo de ayer los daños fueron en la cúpula únicamente.
