Juan Carlos Osorio será técnico del TRI

A falta de que la FMF lo haga oficial, Juan Carlos Osorio será el primer colombiano al frente del Tricolor.
  •  Lo anterior se concretó tras la partida del estratega «cafetero» del cuadro brasileño Sao Paulo.

 

    Sao Paulo.- El director técnico colombiano, Juan Carlos Osorio, confirmó este miércoles su vínculo con la Selección Mexicana, de cara a la Copa del Mundo Rusia 2018.

Lo anterior se concretó tras la partida del estratega «cafetero» del cuadro brasileño Sao Paulo.
En un comunicado, estableció que «formalizo mi vínculo con la selección de México, con el objetivo de jugar en el próximo Mundial».

Hace falta que la Federación Mexicana de Futbol (FMF) confirme la contratación de Osorio, quien iniciará el andar con el Tricolor en noviembre, con el arranque de las eliminatorias mundialistas.

«Tomé esa decisión muy difícil, entre continuar en un gran club (Sao Paulo) y asumir una selección nacional de mucho prestigio», resaltó Osorio.

En la despedida del cuadro brasileño, el colombiano agregó que «como todos saben, hice lo posible para quedarme hasta final de temporada, pero no fue posible».
