Celebridades alzan la voz por niños migrantes

Después de que las cifras más recientes dicen que suman ya, más de dos mil quinientos niños los que han sido separados de sus padres en la frontera de México con Estados Unidos, las celebridades ya alzaron la voz y lo hacen enviando mensajes directos y contundentes al respecto.

Primero, fue la revista People en Español la que lanzó a través de sus redes sociales, la Campaña #DóndeEstánNuestrosHijos, que se viralizó entre las comunidades latinas. Ahora, son las personalidades del mundo del espectáculo quienes hacen llamados de auxilio, quienes exigen un alto a  las atrocidades que se han venido cometiendo con el gobierno de Donald Trump, separando a los niños y adolescentes de sus padres que cruzan la frontera buscando una mejor calidad de vida para sus familias, sin imaginar que se encontrarán con este crimen; porque es un crimen de lesa humanidad arrebatar a un niño de los brazos de su madre, dejándolo tras las rejas y al cuidado de un gobierno que ha demostrado que el tema de los “derechos humanos”, no es algo que le importe mucho.

Luis Fonsi ha publicado uno de los mensajes más poderosos: “No puedo… No puedo ver estos videos de niños pequeños siendo separados de sus padres. Todo porque sus padres querían una mejor vida para ellos. Simplemente no lo entiendo. Tiene que haber una mejor manera”.

Miguel Bosé, un activista social desde hace muchos años, dijo: “Trump, sabía que eras una escoria, pero con esto ya pasas al nivel de criminal.”

Por su parte, la actriz Angèlica Vale, también escribió: “No puedo imaginar el dolor de las mamás y de esos niños que han sido separados, pero nosotros podemos hacer algo”, Afortunadamente en los Estados Unidos sí somos escuchados y sí tenemos que ser escuchados. La mejor forma de combatir esta brutalidad es hablando a nuestros representantes, hablando a los senadores… para que hagan algo y paren esta locura que se está llevando a cabo”.

Se espera que en los próximos días se concrete la fecha para llevar a cabo una marcha encabezada por diferentes personalidades en Washington, para exigir a Trump, parar esta acción legal, que de legal, no tiene nada y que atenta directamente contra los derechos de los niños y niñas.

Pero qué podemos esperar de un gobernante que ha descargado su tiranía contra los indocumentados, contra los menos favorecidos, contra los débiles. De un hombre que está en contra de todo lo que suponga derechos civiles, humanos y de tratados internacionales.

Ojalá, la gente que tiene intenciones de cruzar hacia el norte de México con la esperanza de llegar a Estaos Unidos, lo piense mucho, porque más allá de los peligros del camino, de las carreteras, el desierto y el río bravo, está el peligro más grande: la policía de Donald Trupm, que con su ley de “Tolerancia Cero”, no se tocan el corazón ante nada; ni siquiera ante el llanto desgarrador de un niño al ser arrebatado de los brazos de sus padres.
