Si alguien tenía dudas sobre el largo y retorcido colmillo que a lo largo de su carrera ha sabido acumular el presidente nacional del Partido Revolucionario Institucional, Manlio Fabio Beltrones, seguramente dichas vacilaciones quedaron despejadas gracias al mensaje enviado durante el acto de toma de protesta de la dirigencia del Estado de México.
El arte de la política, visto desde nuestra perspectiva, estriba en saber lo que se dice, dónde se expone, y cuándo hay que expresarlo.
Manlio Fabio, de visita en la entidad donde quien gobierna pudiera ser su amigo-enemigo en la lucha por la carrera presidencial en 2018, hizo gala de una oratoria que pude significar cátedra de político hecho y derecho.
«En primer lugar quiero saludar a tantas amigas y amigos mexiquenses que en verdad generan un enorme orgullo de pertenencia, no nada más a un partido político sino a toda una vida».
Así inició el discurso llamémosle conciliador, de unidad, de confianza y lleno de esperanza.
«Juntos hemos hecho más, porque como equipo es como funcionamos mejor. Lo hago convencido de que estoy en un gran Estado. Un Estado que le ha dado mucho a México, hasta presidentes de la República; y un Estado que habrá de recibir más de México porque lo merece, porque es aquí donde se han forjado -en buena parte- políticas públicas que están transformando el país, expuso.
«Saludo con enorme respeto -bien ganado- al gobernador del Estado, Eruviel Ávila Villegas, a quién el priísmo nacional le reconoce y mucho lo que ha sido su trabajo político llevado a cabo con lealtad, con enorme imaginación y con gran talento, que se ha reflejado tanto en administraciones municipales, en el Congreso y, hoy, en beneficio para todos los mexiquenses».
En verdad, agregó el dirigente nacional tricolor, que es un lujo tener a un gobernador de esa naturaleza aquí en México y estoy seguro que en el Estado de México habrán de surgir muchas más oportunidades en el futuro. «Señor gobernador, gracias por su presencia», agregó.

No escatimar elogios hacia una persona que si bien pertenece al mismo equipo, no obsta para que puedan, en un futuro, verse como contendientes, es parte de la cátedra dictada por Manlio Fabio.
Vino el reconocimiento, respaldo y quizá espaldarazo para Carolina Monroy del Mazo política mexiquense. «Lo comentaba con alguien que tiene una fuerza que surge del Estado de México y que hoy ayuda en mucho en el Comité Ejecutivo Nacional a que la misma se traslade y que se haga efectiva en el priísmo nacional, como lo es mi querida amiga Carolina Monroy, quien es la secretaria general del Comité Ejecutivo Nacional. Su dedicación e inteligencia es un privilegio que tiene el CEN hoy con su colaboración.
Cada quien podrá leer entre líneas dicha parte del discurso de Manlio Fabio Beltrones. Habrá quien señale que la está promoviendo y sea candidata a la gubernatura de la entidad. Entre quienes así lo piensen habrá, sin duda, aquellas y aquellos que tienen las mismas intenciones.
Lo dicho, dicho está insistiendo, cada quien ve las cosas con el cristal que más ajuste a su visión política.
Obviamente llegó el momento en que la figura central (Enrique Peña Nieto) salió a relucir en la opinión de Fabio Beltrones. «Es un momento de oportunidad creado alrededor de lo que nosotros le dimos vida: la segunda alternancia en México, esa segunda alternancia que llegó con el triunfo del presidente, Enrique Peña Nieto, y que no llegó simplemente para administrar un país en la mediocridad, si no para hacerlo avanzar hacia el Siglo XXI, ponerlo en los umbrales de lo que es un país moderno, que se puede distinguir en el panorama internacional», dijo.
Recordó a Luis Donaldo Colosio, cuando respondía a quien afirma que el poder desgasta. «Él (Luis Donaldo) decía que no, lo que desgasta es el no poder, el no poder hacer las cosas, y eso es lo que ha desgastado a otros; si nosotros seguimos haciendo que las cosas buenas sucedan, entonces estaremos cumpliendo con nuestra responsabilidad».
El discurso continuó y nosotros aquí le cortamos porque el espacio no alcanza para tanto, no sin antes agregar las dos últimas líneas. «Que todo sea para el bien del Estado de México y del país en su conjunto. ¡Viva el Estado de México!».
Pues sí, Manlio Fabio Beltrones sabe lo que dice, en dónde lo señala y cuando expresarlo.
Ahí dejó esa cátedra para quien quiera entenderla… y aprenderla.
Tal vez lloré o tal vez reí/ tal vez gané o tal vez perdí/ ahora sé que fui feliz y si lloré también amé, puedo seguir hasta el final…A mi manerA.
