El exceso de velocidad y la falta de pericia al manejar de un chófer del transporte público de la ciudad de Toluca, provocó la muerte de una mujer de la tercera edad.
La tarde este sábado el chófer de la unidad con número económico 138 y placas de circulación 150-181-K de la empresa Red RT, atropelló y mató a una mujer en la esquina de las calles Ignacio Rayón y Primero de Mayo, en la colonia Santa Clara, en pleno centro de la ciudad de Toluca.
De acuerdo con testigos, cerca de las 15:20 horas del sábado, la mujer intentaba cruzar la calle de Rayón cuando fue embestida por el camión, quedando debajo de las llantas. Al darse cuenta de los sucedido, el chófer bajó de la unidad y se dio a la fuga.
Al lugar llegaron elementos de la policía municipal y estatal, quienes acordonaron el lugar y retuvieron la unidad.
Paramédicos del Servicio de Urgencias Médicas llegaron al lugar, pero informaron que la mujer, quien no fue identificada, había fallecido.
Más tarde personal del Ministerio Público llegó para trasladar el cuerpo de la mujer al Servicio Médico Forense.
