Walmart de México y Centroamérica informó que durante el año pasado abrió 100 tiendas en sus diferentes formatos en 25 entidades de la República Mexicana, lo que generó tres mil empleos permanentes.
En un comunicado, indicó que las entidades en las que se realizaron las aperturas fueron Aguascalientes (1), Ciudad de México (18), Chiapas (1), Coahuila (3), Durango (2) y Estado de México (11).
Además, Guanajuato (2), Guerrero (4), Hidalgo (1), Jalisco (9), Michoacán (3), Morelos (2), Nayarit (2), Nuevo León (8), Oaxaca (1), Puebla (4), Querétaro (3), San Luis Potosí (3), Sinaloa (4), Sonora (2), Tabasco (1), Tamaulipas (10), Tlaxcala (3), Yucatán (1) y Zacatecas (1).
“En 2018, abrimos en México un total de 100 unidades de nuestros formatos Bodega Aurrera, Superama, Walmart y Sam´s Club”, destacó Gabriela Buenrostro Ortega, subdirectora de Comunicación Corporativa de Walmart de México y Centroamérica.
Con estas aperturas, agregó, contribuimos al desarrollo económico del país, a través de la generación de los empleos permanentes citados y del impulso a proveedores locales, refrendando nuestro compromiso con las familias mexicanas.
