Flashmob contra el cáncer

Participación... Con motivo del Día Mundial Contra el Cáncer de Mama, el Ayuntamiento de Toluca, a través del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer organizó, en el Andador Constitución, un flashmob en el que participaron servidores públicos de diversas áreas de la administración municipal.
  • Toluca se sumó a actividades para generar conciencia sobre prevención de esta enfermedad.

 

    Con motivo del Día Mundial Contra el Cáncer de Mama, el Ayuntamiento de Toluca, a través del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer, organizó, en el Andador Constitución, un flashmob en el que participaron servidoras y servidores públicos de diversas áreas de la administración municipal.

En el marco de la conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Lucha contra el Cáncer de Mama, el Ayuntamiento de Toluca, en coordinación con el Hospital “Mónica Pretelini” y el DIF estatal, invitaron a la población a participar en la Campaña de prevención “Una detección a tiempo, salva tu vida”, en la que se ofrecieron servicios gratuitos de mastografías, odontología y planificación familiar, entre otros.

En este sentido, los gobiernos federal, estatal y municipal trabajan para prevenir el cáncer de mama, por lo que ofrecieron servicios de mastografía gratuitos a más de 150 mujeres, por lo tanto, no hay pretexto para que las toluqueñas no se realicen los estudios correspondientes para evitar dicha enfermedad, dijo la directora del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer, Verónica Esquivel Estrada.

Por su parte, la presidenta del Sistema Integral para la Familia DIF Toluca, Diana Elisa González Calderón, anunció que en los Sistemas de Atención Médico Asistencial (SIAMAS) ubicados en la colonia Unión y en San Pedro Totoltepec el servicio de mastografías será gratuito durante los meses de octubre y noviembre.

Cabe destacar la presencia de directores de área, integrantes del cabildo municipal, mujeres del Moto Club “Emisarios Evolution”, todos con algún distintivo color rosa, símbolo internacional usado por personas, compañías y organizaciones que se comprometen a crear conciencia sobre dicho padecimiento.
